To-LOVE-Ru - Haruna [Colored]

yea, I know I s*ck at coloring



but it took me 2 hours of work, started at 1 AM last night

well like I said, its not that sucks at all...
and those 2 hours of work worth it, its like a work of a pro to me

I think there's a bit of manga-ish style in it.

You could get free of that if you would make the shadow on her neck simply a darker area, so it wouldn't be stripes as they are now.

And some of the lines on her bra and body seem to be cut too (again shadows) so just run over them with some pencil 1 more time to fix it.

Though I could be wrong. It might make things even worse :P

lol, it's not a bra, it's a bikini top

and on the neck is true, that's a type of shadowing mangaka's use, but on the bikini top it's simply a way to show that the bikini top isn't 2D, but 3D...

but well, it is manga-ish... since it comes from a manga afterall

y'know somehow i feel that its the hair that brings the sense of manga back to it. I dunno how, but it does - i mean few of the animes that i see have that sort of hair colouring, but hey, what do i know?

well, as you see in the original the hair was already completely black, and it's supposed to look like that so...

I meant the shading on the hair, the reflection effect is trademark of manga as opposed to anime, hence the manga feel is still there.. Or so i thought
