VLC Player Empty VLC Player

Post by cheetah180 Thu Jun 26, 2008 8:16 am

When I try to play Druaga no To the Aegis of Uruk with my VLC player it is very choppy or it freezes. If I use DIVX or Media Player it just does not work at all. All my other animes play smooth even when allot is going on in the scene. Any suggestions?

Also what do you guys use to play your anime. Maybe I could try a different player I have not downloaded.

well, VLC does the same when I tried to play Druaga

but when I watch it in WMP or encode it with WinAVI all is fine, so the problem is with the codecs. I made a little guide and posted the codecs I use over here http://www.hikimori.nl/2007/11/sensei-kuns-codec-packs.html

although the screenshots I took were killed by tinyf*ck VLC Player 738225

the easiest thing to do would be to search google for the "essential codec pack" download it and then play the file with media player classic (it should be included in the codec pack).

Thanks so much for your help. Both ideas make sense. The codec pack thing was the simplest so thats what I did. It worked thank you very much!!!

I suggest not to use a codec f*ck... I mean pack, or it'll turn out more mess. And instead, used Sensei-kun's codec pack.

I've been using it for sometimes now and I don't have any problem playing anything at all.
