Based on a light novel series by Shibamura Jin, illustrated by Houden Eizou.

A long time ago, a sacred fox was deified as the guardian of the Mizuchi Family. Kugen the Fox was very wise and it could use various magics. However, because it was too mischievous, it was sealed into a small shrine in the hill behind the Mizuchi house by a priest.

During the present, Takagami Toru, a Mizuchi descendant, often dreams of a woman seems like a monster. The head of the Mizuchi household deduces that some sort of danger looms over Toru, and she releases the sealed Kugen in order to protect him. Contrary to what Toru imagines based on the legends, "Ku-chan", as Kugen is affectionately referred to, is not a dignified creature. Not only can it turn into a woman of great beauty, but it can also assume the form of a man.

PS: Can't wait for the Next Episode

I watched this yesterday but somehow I expected more of this...

alot of people compared it to Ranma so I looked forward to it alot, but then it was a whole lot different... so I kinda need to change my expectations about this show...

but so far the first episode was pretty good, so I'll probably follow it...

Well For the First Episode It was a cliff hanger, made me want to watch more

that's why I like it... I kinda started to like gender-bender shows... alot

it's mostly for the comedy it gives, but that comedy isn't really here, or not yet

we will see what this anime will be like, but the first episode neither made me wanting to drop it nor was it good enough to make me say that I will watch it until the end.

well, don't expect much of the 2nd episode, cuz it was about the same, maybe a bit worse

I like this anime. Honestly, it should get more romance between the older brother and the fox.

The little brother should get the other girl.

the guys are wimps, the loli-miko can use a little more accidental trips to the floor, and the fox should stay in her human form and never change shape again
